Communism - a sociopolitical, philosophical, and economic ideology based on common ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange that allocates products to everyone in society based on need.

Sortition - a type of direct democracy where the decision making body is selected at random from within the population. This has the advantage of diminishing divisive party politics that are common among representative democracies, and unlike a pure direct democracy, the entire population does not need to learn and debate all topics and issues, just a select few, for a short period of time. Sortition systems are designed to eliminate career politicians and reduce corruption by making it extremely difficult or impossible for special interests to form a corrupt relationship with decision makers, and since there are no elections, there are no campaigns to contribute to either. 

Citizens' Assembly  a group of people selected by lottery from the general population to deliberate on important public questions, usually to augment representative government or govern specific aspects of a larger government body such as utilities, parks, transportation, etc...
