The killing of Charlie Kirk fits within this arena of speech that is racist and hate-filled, but is designed to pose as rational and logical political speech. In his rhetoric and so-called debate style this 31-year-old evangelical firebrand of the right has stated that Black pilots were incompetent, Gays should be stoned, ironically he was opposed to gun control, abortion, LGBTQ rights, criticized the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Martin Luther King Jr., promoted Christian nationalism, advanced COVID-19 misinformation, made false claims of electoral fraud in 2020, and is a proponent of the Great Replacement conspiracy theory.

Anti LGBTQIA governments are using dating sites and social media to track down members of the LGBTQIA community.
As conservative and fascist forces continue to make advances in governments around the world, it's important to know that 100% of people in custody for LGBTQIA related "crimes" testified that they were forced, (usually violently forced) to give police access to their device if that device had biometric security enabled. In other words, fingerprint and face recognition software increase the risk of physical assault by the police and decrease privacy.
For minority groups, information security often means the difference between being imprisoned and being released.
